Savor the Journey of Coffee — A Living Cultural Tradition

The Experience
A summer retreat for seekers, conscious living, and earth-lovers.
Set amidst the mystical cloud forest of Cuetzalan, this retreat honors the coffee plantation as a sacred and biodiverse ecosystem — a living portal to presence and reciprocity.
Led by Gabriela Rocha Caballero — author of My Mama's Healing Soups, founder of Suddha Prem, and curator of Be a Conscious Traveler — you’ll embark on a transformative journey through Tosepan Titataniske, a cooperative deeply rooted in ancestral Nahua wisdom and sustainable practices.
Each day invites you into the rhythm of the land: hands-on immersion in the life of the coffee cooperative, cultural exchanges with the community, and mindful experiences woven into sacred Nahua tradition — all within walking distance from the magical town of Cuetzalan, in the heart of the Sierra Madre mountains.
Discover a regenerative world inside a cup of coffee.
Hidden in the cloud forest of Puebla, Cuetzalan is where ancient Nahua traditions meet the lush abundance of coffee agroforestry. This 11-day summer retreat welcomes families, couples, and solo travelers seeking connection, beauty, and renewal in one of Mexico’s most enchanting pueblos mágicos.
-
Mornings begin with light yoga-movement, walking meditation, herbal teas, and Tosepan coffee from the plantation.
-
Days unfold with guided visits to the Tosepan Titataniske Cooperatives, local markets, pyramid, botanical garden, and sacred waterfalls.
-
Evenings are for resting, cacao circles, dinners in town, and cultural exchanges with local healers and artisans.
You’ll sip shade-grown, organic coffee while learning how it is grown, harvested, and roasted in harmony with nature. Along the way, you’ll deepen your connection to sustainability, ancestry, and mindful living.
Expect cool mountain air, misty mornings, lush greenery, and hot summer weather when the sun comes out — the cloud forest is alive and breathing with you.
