Savor the Journey
of a Traditional Cacao Ceremony

The Experience
A sacred women’s retreat in the heart of the Puuc Route. Experience cacao rituals, ancestral healing, and Mayan heritage while connecting with earth, spirit, and a circle of like-minded women.
Set amidst the mystical Puuc landscape, this retreat honors cacao as a sacred plant and portal to presence. Led by Gabriela Rocha Caballero — author of My Mama's Healing Soups, founder of Suddha Prem, and curator of Be a Conscious Traveler — you’ll embark on an unforgettable journey inside a working cacao plantation, just steps from the ancient pyramids of Uxmal.
Each day invites you into a rhythm of cacao ceremonies and tastings, immersion in ancestral Mayan traditions, and mindful nature experiences woven into the sacred land of Uxmal — a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the heart of the Yucatán.
Step into the Sacred Lands of the Maya
Discover the power of cacao, sisterhood, and ancestral wisdom in Uxmal — a mystical setting where ancient traditions meet the vibrant energy of summer rains. This 9-day women’s circle retreat is a journey of presence, creativity, and renewal, set amidst the lush Puuc region of Yucatán.
-
Mornings begin with gentle yoga, breathwork, walking meditations, cacao rituals, quiet journaling, and reflection beneath the ancient ceiba trees.
-
Days unfold with guided explorations of the Uxmal archaeological zone, botanical gardens, Mayan culinary workshops, and creative storytelling circles.
-
Evenings are for deep connection — women’s circles, cultural exchanges, music, nourishing meals, and sacred ceremony under the stars.
You’ll share ceremonial cacao prepared in traditional ways, explore the feminine wisdom embedded in the land, and immerse yourself in practices that honor the cycles of nature and community. Along the way, you’ll deepen your connection to your intuition, ancestry, and the collective feminine spirit.
Expect warm tropical breezes, mystical ruins, sunny and restful pool time, afternoon summer rains, vibrant starry nights, deep, soul-centered connection, and the grounding energy of one of the world’s most magical places.
